NBA All Star Mark Eaton, 7ft4.com, and Brian Hymel, FSBITools.com, are at it again! During our 2009 event, one of the most amazing things that took place at the tournament was the million-dollar hole-in-one shoot made by Jason Hargett, from Springville, Utah. Jason was a late addition to the tournament and almost did not make it because of a bad wrist. Jason was a guest of the Forever Young Foundation and made the 150-yard shot that was cut into the driving range. He hit a nine-iron about 10 feet past the hole and the ball rolled back and made it in, giving the 35-year-old restaurant manager the $1 million dollar prize.

This hole-in-one made news in every major city in the United States and even made international news. We produced a You Tube video and within just a few days the video had over 1.4 million views. The shot made the cover of yahoo.com, msn.com and was the top video on ESPN for a week. Jason was also the play of the day on ESPN, was on the CBS Early Show and made a guest appearance on the Ellen Show. The 2009 event could not have been possible without generous support of our participants, our wonderful volunteers and all of the staff at the Health Sciences Development Office through the University of Utah.
